 
Hua Hin Golf and Holiday
Two new golf courses will open in Hua Hin soon.
First will be Black Mountain, which aims to be the best golf course in Asia. The new course will be located only 10 kilometers from Hua Hin and should be open around the new year.
The second new course will be Banyan Golf and Estate. Banyan golf just started construction and will be open sometime in 2008.

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee had a disappointing four-over-par 76 in the first round of the Scandinavian Masters. Thongchai never got going, hitting five bogeys with his only birdie coming at his very last hole, the ninth.

Hua Hin Golf and Beyond
The Hua Hin/Cha-am Golf Festival will be held throughout the month of August 2006. Springfield Village Golf, The Imperial Lake View, Palm Hills, Kaeng Krachan, Sawang, Majestic Creek and Royal Hua Hin Golf Course are the major courses participating in this golf festival.

The Summer Pairs League has now started with 10 teams, and will continue until mid-September. The teams have all played 2 matches and at this very early stage only two pairings remain with 100% record of wins.
